I have gone “missing” from updating my blogs because lots have happened (as usual) since I returned to Singapore. The more impending emergencies have been home improvements tasks! Given that we have lived in this apartment for nearly 20 years now, it’s not surprising that things are starting to wear out and requiring repairs and… Read More Peeka SG – TaoBao Made Easy!
I am a full-time student, and I am trying to be smarter in my expenditures. The fact that I am relatively challenged when it comes with understanding the true meaning of numbers, I get anxious about spending on big ticket item. I bought the Now Solutions Clay Powder when I was on my vacation at Bend, Oregon. I only used it once while there, and then, life got really hectic, and then, I was busy relocating to Perth! Now that I am more ‘settled in’, I start using the clay mask again, but more ‘adventurous’ with… Read More Mix-Your-Own Clay Mask with Essential Oils
I noticed a subtle change; a sharper chin and leaner cheeks, but it’s very subtle, so I dismissed that as a psychological expectation. It is until I put the photos side by side for comparison! After this photo comparison, I became more enthusiastic in using the ReFa! I should try using on my tummy and thighs!
The ReFa CARAT is designed to replicate the gentle pinching and kneading sensation that an Aesthetician might include as part of your treatment. These actions stimulate your skin and the muscles below and increase circulation. The ReFa CARAT works on your body such as:

I will try them out, but I am guessing that it’s going to take a while. I have this common obsession like many women, in hoarding TOO MANY beauty products.
I have always wanted to try Dr Jart bb cream, so I am quite excited! Monday, perhaps. 😛 … Read More Sample Store – BB creams and Mask
I absolutely love this hot oil treatment! My hair is softer immediately after first use. I am using the hot oil treatment once every three days now, because my hair is really damaged. I plan to continue to use the treatment every fortnight when my hair is (hopefully) recovered.
About the Oils:
Coconut oil is very nourishing, and due to the molecular structure, it reconditions the dry and damaged hair very effectively. The presence of capric acid, vitamin E, and lauric acid aid in restoring the hair’s vitality and strength.
Castor oil is high in ricinoleic acid and omega 9 fatty acid; the earlier is a natural antibacterial and anti-fungal agent that helps in hair growth, the latter helps to nourish the hair and follicle. Accordingly, it aids in adding glossy effect to hair.
Apricot Kernel Oil contains linoleum acid and oleic acid that are unsaturated fats, and is rich in vitamin B17, A, C, E, which are effective ingredients for hair care. This oil helps to cure split ends and treat exceptionally dry hair.
Rosemary essential oil is commonly used to stimulate hair growth and hair health.

I ordered the Etude House Strawberry Curlers on Qoo10 (use the search function to search for the strawberry sponge curlers for best deals); and this is not the first set of curlers (will blog about the other two soon) that I have bought.
The curlers pack comes in 4 big strawberry (cute!) sponges. There is opening in the body where you wrap your hair in. These sponge curlers are more suitable to achieve large curls, and really focus on the lower portion of your hair – Korean style.… Read More Etude House Strawberry Sponge Curlers
I am quite impressed! I don’t remember the last time I had felt my skin so clean yet soft. Accordingly, there is no need to apply any other skin product after the cleanse, but I wanted to be sure it’s clean, so I used the toner to sweep across my forehead and around the nose, It. Is. Very. Clean!
Recipe for sensitive and dry skin
2 tsp x castor oil
2 tsp x grapeseed oil
2 tsp x apricot kernel oil
10 drops x tamanu oil
Cap the bottle and shake it up. … Read More Oil Cleansing Method (OCM)
Texture: As the name suggests, it really is ‘water’.
Application: The tint comes with an applicator, but I dab the lip tint in to the lips with finger.
Staying power: Personally, I like it faint, and I don’t really eat much when I am out (at least not recently, so this is not put to test that way). I wore this for 6-7 hours, and I only reapplied once; and recoated the lip butter many times over (dry lips!).
Price point: Cheap, I think. I have no concept of money, but I paid less than S$7, so that’s very affordable to me. … Read More Peripera Lip Tint Water Review
Yeah, as if the external beauty care wasn’t enough, I am working the beauty enhancement inside out! I am taking the Milcolla collagen powder for several reasons. I had previously tried taking Meiji collagen powder, and it upset my reflux – but back then, my reflux problem was really intense, so many things can trigger… Read More Milcolla Collagen Powder
