I am indisputably a Mizon fan now – to be exact, Mizon Snail Series. The snail repair cream, eye cream, intensive ampoule and snail gel work so well for me, I would buy the snail toner if they have any!
Naturally, I bought the Mizon Snail Repair BB Cream too.
[The Missy’s Say]
Texture:
Thick consistency.
Scent:
Subtly perfumed, well tolerated.
Coverage: (See image for comparison)
Coverage is medium-good, it covers better than Skin79 Hot Pink, and covers most minor skin imperfections; however, it is thicker and more pigmented, so if you are looking for nude look, this is not for you.
After touch:
A slight tackiness immediately after application, but I set with 3W loose powder, so it doesn’t bother me at all.
Color:
My skin color profile is NC10-15.
The bb cream has more yellow shades, so it suits the tropical Asian (fair-skinned, unfortunately) with yellow undertones. However, it can be a tad too fair, even for me.
Tip: I only apply bb cream with the Enprani applicator now, and I am currently mixing Mizon snail bb cream with Skin79 hot pink to get the perfect shade and coverage. What I do is to squeeze a small bit of each on the applicator cake, and then apply on face, it will get mixed as you apply.
Moisture/Oiliness and Staying Power:
It’s not oily, and I wear Etude House Goodbye Pore ever primer under the bb cream, so it really stays matt for many hours.
Definitely repurchasing, and when I travel to USA, I will replace Skin79 with Skin79 Oriental which is more moisturizing.
