Chamos Acaci Lemon Ultra Brightening Cream

As a fair-skinned tropical Asian, you would think I won’t need further ‘whitening’. I guess that would be correct if I had perfect porcelain skin. Unfortunately for me, I continue to experience occasional breakouts and my hypersensitive (and chronic) skin doesn’t really help in keeping the skin clear either. Skin whitening is not really just to whiten the already fair skin tone, but also to even out the skin discoloration caused by acne scars/marks, and I don’t know, like my crazy rash that sometimes leave light scars, especially if I scratched and broke the skin. I do scar easily – too easily.

‘Brightening’ sounds just right.

[The Missy’s Say]

✔ Light – part gel, part cream.

A little citrus, but very mild.

After touch:

✔ ✔ When smoothed on skin, tiny water droplets (see the last image in gallery) was released. Very quickly absorbed into the skin.

✘ There is a slight tackiness after application though. (It’s probably important to note that I have nearly zero tolerance for tackiness, say the minor stickiness caused by humidity in the morning, drives me nuts! I don’t really know anyone else who is as intolerant to tackiness as I am; and usually no one complained when I did.)

✔ ✔ Skin feels smooth, and I do notice the brightening effect. Not oily, skin feels very hydrated.

✔ It didn’t break me out after a few uses, so I think it agrees with my skin.

Buy it at Chamos website (or/and retail stores that carry it).

    1. Since the key ingredients contain Vitamin C, I would think it’s best to avoid prolonged sun exposure. There are conflicting advice about Vitamin C and sun sensitivity though. UV damages actually continues hours after you are exposed to sun, so it’s better to use Vit C creams/serum in the evening. This product also consists of Ascorbic Acid, which make already sensitive skin more sensitive, then it’s not advisable to use under sun. I am not an expert though, so you may want to consult the manufacturer (the link to their website is in the article that I posted).
