Oral B Triumph 4000 | Product Review

We have been using electric toothbrush for many years now, and there is no going back to manual brush ever!

This is the new toothbrush to replace the old one which worked for 2 years until the battery simply gave up.

We are loving this brush. Different from our previous Oral B Professional 3D brush are improved and new features, such as pressure sensor and 4 cleaning modes.

See, when the battery runs lower, or when the brush head is nearing the end of its lifespan, you might not feel the full ‘power’ of the brush, and you tend to press it too hard against the gum. That is really bad. Triumph 4000 alerts you with a hard-to-ignore red LED light when you have exerted too much pressure.

This brush set also has 4 cleaning modes, which I would probably just use 2 of them (daily clean, and weekly deep clean) more frequently and the polish (monthly, with the right brush head) mode. The deep clean is fantastic!

The set comes with 4 free brush heads – 2 FlossAction, 1 sensitive, 1 Pro Bright (polish). We absolutely love the floss action brush head!

We used the battery operated Oral B brush (that you can get from Watsons and even supermarkets) at under S$30 during the transitional period while sourcing for the replacement. It sufficed to give you a somewhat clean brushing, but when compared with the Triumph series (or even its predecessors such as our old Pro 3D series), it is definitely a mediocre performer.

It may seem like a hefty investment of S$229 for a toothbrush, but think again, it keeps your oral hygiene at its best, and saves you from regular toothaches or visits to dentist. (You should really still go for your regular dentist visits though!) It makes a big difference, because ever since we started using electronic brush, the bill size of our dentist visits shrunk by noticeable size.
